  • Canon PowerShot Photo Recovery Software: Yodot Mac Photo Recovery is the best solution that is available for you to rescue RAW images that were deleted or lost from your Canon PowerShot digital camera. Advanced features and easy to use graphical user interface makes this recovery processes a cakewalk for you.
  • Hi, Quick question: Is it possible to transfer photos from my Powershot S5 IS via the USB cable without installing the software? I'm wondering if it's possible to have it mount onto my Mac (OSX) as an external drive allowing me to drag-n-drop the files onto my computer.
  • Use a cable and the OS standard settings for saving images without using Canon software. Some camera models may not have performance guaranteed for the OS (for Windows XP/Vista/Mac OS 10.6/10.7 and other operating systems).
  • If you don’t have one, here is my recommendation: Photo Recovery for Canon Camera(compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP), or Canon Camera data Recovery for Mac (compatible with MacOS High Sierra 10.13, macOS Sierra 10.12, Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.9(Mavericks), 10.8(Mountain Lion), 10.7, 10.6, or 10.5).

How To Photos From Canon Powershot To Mac Computer

Just connect the USB end to your computer, and the other to your camera. When a menu pops up, it should offer the option of down loading. If it does, click on it. They'll get added to the 'my pictures' program of your computer, and you have to name the file folder for them.

Hi! I'm totally new to a mac, also new to this forum. Happy to get to know you guys! :headphone
I've got a question: Later when I used my PC with WinXP, once I connected the camera to the PC it always transfered the images automatically (with Photo wizard). But now with my Mac when I connect them two, nothing happens. Mine is a Canon Powershot A80, its installation disks are all for PC so I don't know if it needs a special program to transfer images, or any other way? Please help! Thankyou!!!

How To Transfer Photos From Canon Powershot To Mac

Hello all.
I recently switched from a PC to a mac, and now enjoy my Macbook Pro. It's not one of the newer ones, but it's just as good.
The problem i've come across is I can't seem to figure out how to transfer pictures from my canon powershot camera, to my computer. I've tried having the camera plugged in, and opening Iphoto, to no result, To downloading the canon software directly from the website, to which it replies with 'no camera found' when I try and search for it. It's as if I never have it plugged in at all.
Is there any way I can access the USB drive directly via my HDD or something?
Any advice would suffice, anything that will keep me from having to go out and buy a memory card reader to upload the pictures >_<
